When you record audio, the file is sent directly to the Google Gemini API for transcription. We do not store audio recordings on our servers. Google processes the audio and returns a text transcript. Google's use of this data is governed by the Gemini API Terms of Service.
Your resulting transcripts are stored in your private database, protected by security rules that allow only your account to access them. You can delete any transcript at any time from within the app.
VoiceVault is our optional speaker verification feature. When you enroll a participant's voice, a voice fingerprint is created and stored on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. Deleting the app removes all voice enrollment data permanently.
Payments for Boost Pack and Pro Pack minute bundles are processed by Yoco Technologies. We do not store your card details — these are handled entirely by Yoco. Your purchase history (pack type, amount, date) is stored in your private account.
Used for account authentication, cloud database, and backend processing. Stores your email, transcripts (if enabled), minute balance, and error logs. Hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Used for AI transcription. Audio is sent to Gemini, processed, and the resulting text is returned. Audio is not stored by Google after processing. See Gemini API Terms.
Used for payment processing. Yoco receives your email and payment amount to complete purchases. See Yoco's Privacy Policy.
All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Your cloud data is protected by Firestore security rules — only your authenticated account can read your transcripts, vault records, and usage data. Voice enrollment data never leaves your device.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual transcripts and vault records at any time from within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email address below and we will process your request within 7 days.

WeSaidSo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
